Telegram is a cross platform, cloud-based messaging platform allowing users to access their chats across multiple devices, while maintaining privacy by ensuring heavy encryption. The platform has an open API with a free source code. It does not place any limits on the size of individual messages/visual content, hence is preferred by large groups.
